Principal's Message From Vernon Orndorff

Mustang Families, you are the voice of Indian Trails Middle School. We need your assistance in promoting Indian Trails Middle School throughout the community. We have many students who are missing out on the dynamic experience of being a Mustang Scholar. We would like to invite these students to have the opportunity to become Mustang Scholars! We have many excellent academic and extra curricular programs that we can offer all middle school students.

Our newest exploration will be working with NASA. During this upcoming event our Mustang Scholars  will be communicating via radio with the International Space Station as it orbits over ITMS in October.

Our service learning students have a huge challenge during the upcoming 2012-2013 school year. They need to spend the 70k dollars of grant money they were awarded for their recycling program!Congratulations!

The 8th grade Scholars will be busy planning their Washington DC trip for April of 2013.

Indian Trails offers after school study hall, tutoring, Builders Club, FCA Club, Drama Club, our Mentoring program, HAM Radio Club as well as a variety of sanctioned athletic teams including football, basketball, lacrosse, and soccer.

Our Mustang Scholars have the opportunity to engage in the cutting edge of technology with our STEM Lab, computer desk top labs, the MacBook classroom carts and our new IPad carts!  Each Scholar has access to a computer throughout the school day, as well as computer access in our media center during our after school study hall program.

Our Mustang Community follow the Big “3” each and every day. We are proud Mustangs! Our Professional Educators are the best in the State of Florida providing exemplary, engaging, and relevant lessons to our Mustang Scholars on a daily basis.
